Matthew Jack has over 13 years of Direct Hire Oil & Gas recruitment and has been one of the Top performers in the industry since he began his career in 2006. Matthew achieved his success through great client relationships – by understanding his clients’ needs and being able to deliver quickly and effectively to promote cost savings for his clients. Matthew has always been rated as one of the top 2 suppliers for each of his clients.
In January of 2014, Matthew decided to open his own Executive Recruitment firm and formed MJ Executive Search LLC. The focus of MJ Executive Search is upstream, mid-stream and downstream oil and gas. At MJ Executive Search, Matthew works a full desk and handles both the sales and recruitment side of the business. Matthew also trains and develops his team of recruiters while handling all day to day operations.
Before opening MJ Executive Search, Matthew was a Partner at The Willis Group where he was Head of the Oil and Gas division. Matthew managed, trained and developed a team of 11 Direct Hire recruiters and 9 Contract Hire recruiters. Matthew and his team achieved the highest profitability in the oil and gas divisions’ history at The Willis Group. Matthew was also the youngest employee to ever make Partner at The Willis Group.
Prior to joining The Willis Group, Matthew worked with Richard Wayne & Roberts supporting its Oil and Gas division. During his tenure there, Matthew worked a full desk to generate new business as well as source, identify, and recruit qualified candidates for some of the top Oil and Gas clients in the industry. Matthew has been recognized by the TAPC and HAAPC for being one of the top recruiters in Texas.
